Why is my Jira integration not working and showing linking errors?

To resolve Jira integration and linking errors, follow these steps:

  1. Clear your browser cache and retry the integration process. This may resolve temporary issues.

  2. Verify IP Allowlist in Jira:

    • Ensure the following IP addresses are added to your Jira IP-allowlist:
      • 142.132.185.19
      • 5.75.250.20
      • 88.99.148.154
    • This allows Testomat to communicate with your Jira instance.
  3. Check user permissions in Jira:

    • Verify that the user credentials used for the integration have the necessary permissions to edit issues in Jira.
  4. Consider using an API token:

    • If using a password for integration, consider switching to an API token for enhanced security and stability.
  5. Test the integration by linking a test case, suite, or test run to ensure the issue is resolved.

  • The issue was resolved after adding the IP address 88.99.148.154 to the Jira settings.
  • Ensure the user account used for integration has administrator rights and the ability to edit issues in Jira.
