How do I assign users to a run as teams?
You can’t assign a Team to a run directly. Teams control which projects a group of users can access — run assignment always happens per user. What you can do is add several users to a run at once and let Testomat.io split the tests between them.
Assign users to a run
Section titled “Assign users to a run”- Click the ‘Manual Run’ button on the ‘Runs’ page.
- Click ‘Assign users’.
- Open the ‘Assign to’ dropdown and select the users you need.
- Click ‘Auto-Assign Users’ and pick a strategy:
- None — nobody is pre-assigned; users pick their own tests.
- Prefer test assignee — keeps assignments made at test and suite level.
- Randomly distribute tests — splits tests evenly between assigned users.
- Launch the run.
By default only the person who created the run is added to it.
If a user isn’t in the dropdown
Section titled “If a user isn’t in the dropdown”They aren’t a member of the project. Add them to a Team that has this project, or invite them to the project directly.
